Teaching Programme

  • Introduction to Raspberry Pi and its components
  • Introduction to Programming (using Scratch GPIO and / or Python)
  • Simple Circuits

Delivered over 2 – 3 terms, this approach is based on the successful pedagogical model developed and trialed for the Strengthening Digital Technologies Project – a series of hands-on practical one-day workshops that introduce core concepts of using the Raspberry Pi for the teaching and learning of NZC Digital Technologies.

The workshops combine practical training with accompanying teaching and learning materials so you can hit the ground running with a complete approach in the classroom.  Teachers learn as they teach and if they need help in between times, we’re only an email away.

Learner workshops are also included.
